ABOUT ME

I’m Lucy, a Surrey-based integrative therapist and clinical supervisor offering safe, confidential and non-judgemental one-to-one and relationship counselling. An 'integrative' style means that I can draw on several different therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs and preferences, and we can work out together what is most effective for you.

The therapeutic relationship is a mutual experience built on trust, compassion and acceptance. My flexible and creative approaches to counselling are valued by clients who sometimes find it hard to know where to start or to find the words to express what they are feeling, but still desire the autonomy to direct the counselling process themselves. I can’t give you the answers, but I can help you explore and make your own journey to a connected, fulfilling life and relationships.

I have experience helping clients with a range of presentations, including anxieties and depressions, grief, marriage, family and relationship difficulties, challenges of parenting, identity, self-esteem and insecurity, uncertainty and change, control conditions and stress.

I am experienced tailoring therapy to the unique needs and circumstances of diverse clients; if you are looking for something specific or would like to talk through potential accommodations, please get in touch to see if I am the right therapist for you.

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework. 'Accredited' means that my practice has been extensively assessed by my professional body and I my work is considered to meet the body's higher standards as a competent, ethical and independent counsellor/psychotherapist. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

Please contact me for a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone or Zoom  consultation to discuss your needs.
